CNC and Set Up Machinist
Machine Shop - St. Paul, MN - Full Time
Northern Iron and Machine is looking for experienced CNC machinist! We are under new ownership, and a part of the Lawton Standard family of foundries.
If you are an experienced CNC Machinist, we have a great opportunity for you!
Pay:
- Starting at $30-$35 (depending on experience)
What is the position and hours?
- Machinist and set up position
- 1st shift- 6:00AM-4:30PM. Monday through Thursday. Mandatory overtime on Fridays when needed.
Minimum requirements:
- 5 years set up on lathes (horizontal mills and lathes preferred)
- Experience running cast iron
- Experience with live tooling
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot programs/tooling for finish and dimensional issues
- Demonstrated ability to edit/program on the control
- Candidates will have to pass physical assessment and have a clear drug screen
