Lathe Operator – American Iron and Alloys (AIA)
Location: Waukesha, WI
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Operate lathes and related machining equipment safely and efficiently
Use measuring tools such as micrometers and tape measures to ensure accuracy
Perform routine inspections of tooling and finished parts
Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment
Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience operating lathes or similar equipment
High school diploma or technical diploma in a related field preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
Ability to read and interpret measurements accurately
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
Compensation and Schedule:
Competitive hourly wage: $23.00 – $25.00 based on experience
Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime available as needed
